Defibrillators & Accessories

We Sell Defibrillator AED’s Throughout Victoria

Automated External Defibrillator’s (AED’s) are mobile electronic appliances that can instantly detect and diagnose a life-threatening cardiac problem, check the rhythm of the heart during an emergency and send an electric shock to the heart to return the heart to return it to its normal rhythm.

Cardiovascular diseases and cardiac arrest are some of the leading causes of death in Australia. By having an AED always at the ready, you highly decrease the chances of death during such an emergency.

First Aid Training Group provides the world’s best AED’s at unbeatable prices. Our AED’s are manufactured by Defibtech – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of defibrillators.

Our AED Defibrillators are for sale in Ballarat, Bendigo, Geelong, Horsham, Melbourne, Warrnambool and throughout Victoria.

We are passionate about helping to save lives. Along with first aid courses, fire safety courses and workplace safety services we offer, we are a proud distributor of Defibtech AED’s.

Why is it important to have an AED at the ready?

It is always important to have an AED ready for use for the following reasons:

  • It is the only device that can combat sudden cardiac arrest.
  • They strengthen the chain of survival and help to restore a normal heartbeat during cardiac arrest.
  • They send shocks to life-threatening types of cardiac arrest: ventricular fibrillation (when the heart is quivering as opposed to beating normally), and pulseless ventricular tachycardia (where the heart is beating over 180 beats per minute and the pumping action of the heart has been impeded upon).
  • Significantly increases the chances of survival during the event of cardiac arrest, far greater than CPR alone can.

The importance of AED training

It is highly important that if you are in a position where an AED is available to potentially save a life, then make sure you are properly trained in its use.
