These are the two most common questions for people living with epilepsy. Nothing is more difficult than feeling helpless when a seizure occurs. This session will help you be prepared to respond to seizures safely and appropriately.
All of our trainers are healthcare professionals I.e. Paramedics,
Emergency First Responders, Nurses – Specialists in the field and all with REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCE!
- Define a seizure
- Explain causes of a seizure
- Identify different types of seizures
- Recognize signs and symptoms of a seizure
- Demonstrate appropriate first aid for a seizure
There are no prerequisites for this session.
A certificate of attendance will be available to participants.
Once enrolled, First Aid Training Group will email students a booking confirmation with venue details and maps, session details and terms of enrolment.
