Our nationally accredited and AS3745-2010 compliant Emergency Warden training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills to effectively fulfil their duties as a Warden in the event of an emergency. The course covers the obligations and requirements of a Warden across a range of emergencies, and how they integrate into the Emergency Control Organisation structure.
This unit covers the roles and responsibilities of the Warden and others in the Emergency Control Organisation to participate in the preparation of workplace emergency procedures; alert and report potential workplace emergencies; evaluate the need to evacuate a work area; prepare for an evacuation; and assist people who may require assistance in accordance with workplace emergency procedures.
This training covers the theory aspects of fire warden training. There is a short answer question booklet to complete at the end of the training covering the course theory learnt that day.
Prerequisite: There are no prerequisites for this course.
Minimum age: Students must be at least 14 years of age at the time of attendance.
Requirements: Students are required to bring a form of photo ID on the day of their practical course.
