Cancelling a course or service close to the commencement date affects everybody including the trainer and participants. Cancelling or changing a course/service should be considered as a last resort. The following terms apply:
First Aid Training Group Pty Ltd undertakes to refund or transfer course or service fees according to the following criteria:
Training courses held in our training centre and/or on-site at your premises must be paid for in full prior to the date of the training or on the day of training. Where agreed, corporate clients will be invoiced, and First Aid Training Group Pty Ltd must receive payment within 14 days of course conclusion.
Upon booking, corporate clients (organisations) must provide a minimum of 48 hours’ notice of intent to cancel /reschedule. Rescheduled courses/services must be undertaken within 1-month from the cancellation date. Where a course/service has been cancelled by an organisation without a minimum of 24 hours’ notice, the organisation must pay the agreed fee in full, in accordance with First Aid Training Group’s payment terms.
In the event of cancellation of the course/service by an individual and/or organisation who has paid in full, a full refund will be provided on the actual cost of the course or service, provided we receive notification of cancellation at least 48 hours prior to the course date. A 50% refund will be provided up to 24 hours prior to the course/service date, and cancellations received less than 24 hours before the course/service are not entitled to a refund. If a course or service is cancelled within 48 hours of the commencement time, fees will be withheld in total and you are entitled to transfer into a future First Aid Training Group course/service (within 1 month of the original date commencement), not a refund.
In the event that an individual does not attend their scheduled course/service and no notice has been given of their absence, a $30.00 ‘no-show’ fee will be charged.
In the event that an individual has rescheduled their course more than three times, a $30.00 ‘reschedule’ fee will be charged per change.
If a participant is more than 10 minutes late to a training course, they may not be admitted and a rescheduling fee of 50% of the course fee may apply.
If First Aid Training Group needs to reschedule a course or service, the cost will be refunded in full, or the course or service can be rescheduled to an acceptable date.
All refunds and cancellation fees will be administered at the sole discretion of First Aid Training Group Pty Ltd Management.
